Welcome to the Guru of Tea!
The launch of the site was at the World Tea Expo 2009, and what a great Expo! The global credit crunch / economic down turn had done nothing to dampen the spirits of the tea community in the USA and beyond. At the Expo I gave a seminar on ‘White Tea – what is it and why is it so unique?’ .
Why not subscribe? For a free pdf on white tea, and access to my informative newsletters. The pdf has been written to be a fun but factual introduction to white tea and useful if you are a curious consumer, tea shop owner or scientist interested in broadening your understanding of tea types. This site is much more than just a talking shop for one person – me! My aspirations are to create a site that is a hub of knowledge, links and useful up-to-data and above all accurate information about tea. A major bug bear of mine is that in common with the internet in general there is a great deal of myth, half truth & just plain inaccurate information out there about tea. I can’t stop that but can to the but of my abilities ensure that information on ‘The Guru of Tea’ is accurate.
Going forward I hope to add to the downloads section and add a blog on tea to this site.
